Formado em Filmes e Pintura, curso tirado na Escola de Arte de St. Martins em Londres, Nick Brandt dedicou-se à fotografia desde Dezembro de 2000 num sítio muito peticular, África de Este. E que melhor sítio para começar. Foi desde essa experiência que se dedicou a tempo inteiro à fotografia, tendo editado alguns livros ilustrados, como “On This Earth”, publicado a Outubro de 2005 e mais recentemente, “Shadow Falls”, a Setembro de 2009.

A verdade é que é um fotografo de renome internacional, como podemos ver de seguido em alguns reviews feitos às suas obras:

O seu dom para a fotografia deu brilhantes resultados, o que lhe deu a possibilidade de viajar com a toda a sua obra em inúmeras exposições por Londres, Sidney, São Francisco, Hamburgo, Los Angeles, Berlin, Nova Iorque, entre muitas outras cidades.

Quanto aos pormenores nas suas fotografias, não refiro nada, porque a delícia está em ver as majestosas fotografias tiradas ao Reino Animal.

I had a desire to start my own commerce, but I didn't earn enough of money to do it. Thank God my close colleague told to use the home loans. Therefore I took the college loan and realized my dream.
