Este tutorial requer muitos conhecimentos no corel e ensina o utilizador a desenhar no corel a personagem Kadaj do jogo Final Fantasy. O tutorial foi realizado por Aulia Ully Rahmi. Continue a ler ...
1. Make a blank canvas in Painter, fill that canvas with layer adjuster tool and pick dark green color. I make about 3208 X 2480 pixels 300dpi. Look at the custom brush, I mainly use Oils and acrylics brush.

2. Make a messy sketch but try not to trace from reference, observes the subject until you finally got the mood, it's not 100% alike, it's normal. I use details oils with low opacity. I've done some messy sketch but this is the one that I choose.

3. Start filling that messy sketch with grey white color, I still use the same brush (detail oil brush) with low opacity around 37-50% in new layer and then as default mode 100%.

4. Start filling the hair and add some stuff like his black cloth, only for the base, it might change later as I erase his mouth that I need to re-paint by filling the failed area with lasso selection and add the same color with the background. I also use acrylics for this stage beside oils.

5. I start to repaint the mouth and add purple pink color and refining the eyes; add baby blue-green color on it. At this stage, start making shadow on his face even a little bit by using Acrylics. For the eye using combination light cobalt turquoise and light red blue. As for the lips using the combination of broken rose dore pink white-soft purple and light ultramarine violet.

6. Don't forget to drop all the layer after you are already sure with the base, mainly I use about 2-3 layers, more than that my pc will work really slow, so don’t forget drop the layer and don't forget to save often in multiply file. Using blenders is fun but if you use too much it will be flat be sure to use it wisely. Around the nose use the broken yellow lemon.

7. Refine his eyes with acrylics and his oils; this is just the base color, so it is fine if you just paint directly on the canvas. Use little size and try low opacity then go to the larger one.

8. A. Start making new layer set as multiply or just paint direct on the canvas. Every time you want to give depth or shadow set as multiply. Using oil color add grey-purple blue / light Prussian blue.

B. Keep adding the further gradation with oils and take a look at colors wheel and keep adding shadow for his face as well.

C. To give more and more depth, I use multiply set with detail oil brush, both on his face and his hair as well.

9. A. I use blur blender for some part on his face, so it will look smooth and well blended.

B. Making dot in his left eye with Oils as well as his eyelashes, hair and skin. Other way to give more depth on his feature, try to set the layer in different setting and different opacity too.

10. A. Use detail oil to add the strand hair and use effects-focus-soften to blend with base color.

B. For further strand detail, use round camel hair oil and you can erase the unwanted area with eraser tool.

11. Make new layer for his cloth outline and take detail oil brush with little size 2-4 % and lower opacity and start to make the outline, well it's not neat at all but that's fine, we will cover it with color anyway, at the same time refine his lips and drop pink and more dark pink color on his upper lips all set in default.

12. Start filling the outline layer with purple-blue-white color cover all the outline and at the same time try to look up how the light falls and the place of the shadow with acrylics and refine it step by step. For the cloth color, you can use the gradation of blue and French ultramarine, deep cobalt blue to white.

For greater detail, you can use detail oil brush and use eraser to remove the unwanted stuff.

13. Start to paint his zip with detail oil in new layer on paint directly on the canvas, at the same time; I scan my sister's leather bag in 300 DPI. And try to add the texture with some brush in painter.

14. How to add texture in painter?
Open that texture file -select all-and drag with layer adjuster to the necessary spot and set as overlay 83%, you can also set transform that texture in different opacity. In the end erase the unwanted area with Eraser tool. You can add the texture with the sane way but try to play with the layer setting and layer texture transform, then for further texture you can add Acrylic brush.

About Texture
How to make texture on the background?
Make a layer then, most of the time, I use direct on the canvas but making new layer is fine too. Using Pastels, Sponges, Oils, and acrylics will create great effect but eventually, i use all the brush to make texture. It's fun to try which brush that fits with you, with the theme of the picture, anyway, that's just my idea.
